You can change your Sinosend plan at any time — no hoops to jump through. Upgrades are instant, downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period, and cancellation is straightforward with no data loss surprises.

Upgrade your plan

Upgrading gives you immediate access to higher transfer limits, more storage, additional team seats, and extra data regions.
1

Open Billing Settings

Log in to your Sinosend account, click your avatar in the top-right corner, and select Account Settings. Then click Billing in the left sidebar.
2

Click Upgrade Plan

Under Current Plan, click Change Plan. A plan comparison modal appears showing Personal, Pro, and Business options.
3

Select your new plan

Click Select on the plan you want to upgrade to. Review the pricing summary, including the prorated charge for the remainder of your current billing period.
4

Confirm the upgrade

Click Confirm Upgrade. Your new plan activates immediately. A receipt for the prorated charge is sent to your billing email.
When you upgrade mid-cycle, Sinosend calculates a prorated credit for the unused days on your current plan and applies it to the cost of the new plan. You only pay for the difference.
After upgrading to Business, contact Sinosend support to set up your custom subdomain. The process requires a DNS change and typically completes within a few hours.

Downgrade your plan

Downgrading reduces your plan limits at the end of your current billing period. You keep all your current features until then.
1

Open Billing Settings

Go to Account Settings → Billing and click Change Plan.
2

Select a lower plan

Click Select on the plan you want to move to. A confirmation message shows the date your new plan takes effect — this is the last day of your current billing cycle.
3

Confirm the downgrade

Click Confirm Downgrade. Your current plan remains active until the billing cycle ends. You won’t be charged the lower rate until your next renewal date.
If your current storage usage exceeds the new plan’s limit, you’ll need to delete files before the downgrade takes effect. Sinosend sends an email reminder 7 days before the change if your usage is over the new limit.

Annual vs. monthly billing

You can switch between annual and monthly billing at any time from Account Settings → Billing → Billing Frequency.
Billing cyclePrice example (Pro)Best for
Annual19/month(billedas19/month (billed as 228/year)Teams with predictable, ongoing transfer needs
MonthlySlightly higher per-month rateSeasonal or project-based usage
Annual billing is the better value if you use Sinosend year-round. Switch to annual billing any time to lock in the lower rate — the change takes effect at your next renewal.

Cancel your subscription

Cancelling stops future charges and moves your account to the Free tier at the end of your current billing period.
1

Open Billing Settings

Go to Account Settings → Billing and scroll to the bottom of the page.
2

Click Cancel Subscription

Click Cancel Subscription and select a cancellation reason from the dropdown. Your feedback helps Sinosend improve the product.
3

Confirm cancellation

Click Confirm Cancellation. You’ll receive a confirmation email. Your paid plan remains active until the end of the current billing period — you won’t be charged again.

What happens after cancellation

Plan accessPaid features remain active until the billing period ends, then revert to the Free tier.
Stored filesFiles are retained for 30 days after reversion to Free tier, then permanently deleted.

Download any files you want to keep before the 30-day retention window closes. Sinosend sends a reminder email 7 days before permanent deletion.

Reactivate a cancelled plan

If you cancelled and want to resubscribe, go to Account Settings → Billing and click Reactivate Subscription. Choose a plan and billing cycle — your new plan activates immediately.
If you’re cancelling because of cost, consider switching to annual billing for a lower monthly rate, or downgrading to the Free tier instead of cancelling entirely.
