Setting up your Sinosend account takes only a few minutes and gives you immediate access to secure file transfers, real-time delivery tracking, and a personal document library. This guide covers everything from the initial sign-up to locking down your account with two-factor authentication.

Sign up for Sinosend

1

Go to the sign-up page

Navigate to app.sinosend.com and click Sign Up in the top-right corner.
2

Choose your sign-up method

Sinosend offers two ways to create an account:
  • Email and password — enter your name, email address, and a password (minimum 8 characters, must include a number and a special character).
  • Google login — click Continue with Google to create an account instantly using your Google credentials. No separate password is needed.
Using Google login is the fastest option and removes the need to manage a separate password for Sinosend.
3

Agree to terms and create your account

Review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, check the acknowledgment box, and click Create Account.

Verify your email

1

Check your inbox

After sign-up, Sinosend sends a verification email to the address you provided. Open the email and click Verify Email Address.
If you signed up with Google, your email is verified automatically and you can skip this step.
2

Confirm verification

You’ll be redirected to your Sinosend dashboard with a confirmation banner. Your account is now active and you can start sending transfers.
The verification link expires after 24 hours. If it expires, log in to your account and click Resend verification email from the notification banner at the top of your dashboard.

Start your free trial

Once your email is verified, Sinosend prompts you to activate your 7-day free trial. The trial gives you full access to all paid features — including larger transfer sizes, expanded storage, multiple data regions, and real-time notifications — so you can evaluate the platform before choosing a plan.
No credit card is required to start the free trial. You won’t be charged until you manually select and confirm a paid plan.
After the trial ends, your account automatically reverts to the Free tier. Any files uploaded during the trial remain accessible for 30 days.

Set up your profile

1

Open Profile Settings

Click your avatar in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select Profile Settings.
2

Add your details

Fill in the following fields:
  • Full name — displayed in outgoing transfer emails so recipients know who sent the file.
  • Company name — shown on the transfer page and in delivery notifications.
  • Profile photo — upload a headshot or company logo (JPEG or PNG, max 2 MB). This appears in transfer emails.
3

Save your changes

Click Save Profile. Changes take effect immediately on all future transfers.

Manage account settings

Change your email address

Go to Account Settings → Security. Enter your new email address and click Update Email. A verification link is sent to the new address — click it to confirm the change.

Change your password

Go to Account Settings → Security → Change Password. Enter your current password, then your new password twice, and click Update Password.
Use a password manager to generate and store a strong, unique password for your Sinosend account.

Notification preferences

Go to Account Settings → Notifications to control when and how Sinosend alerts you:
Notification typeDescription
Transfer openedAlerts you when a recipient views your transfer page.
File downloadedAlerts you when a recipient downloads one or more files.
Transfer expiringReminds you 48 hours before a transfer link expires.
Browser notificationsPush alerts in your browser — no need to keep the dashboard open.
Toggle each notification type on or off, and choose whether to receive alerts by email, browser push, or both.

Enable two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of security to your account. Even if your password is compromised, an attacker cannot log in without your second factor.
1

Open Security Settings

Go to Account Settings → Security → Two-Factor Authentication and click Enable 2FA.
2

Choose your 2FA method

Sinosend supports two methods:
  • Authenticator app (recommended) — use Google Authenticator, Authy, or any TOTP-compatible app.
  • SMS — receive a one-time code by text message.
3

Set up an authenticator app

If you chose the authenticator app method, scan the QR code displayed on screen with your authenticator app. The app generates a 6-digit code that refreshes every 30 seconds.
4

Enter the verification code

Enter the current 6-digit code from your app (or the SMS code) into the Verification Code field on screen and click Confirm.
5

Save your backup codes

Sinosend displays 8 one-time backup codes. Save these somewhere safe — for example, in a password manager or a printed document stored securely. You can use a backup code to regain access if you lose your 2FA device.
Each backup code can only be used once. If you use all of them and lose your 2FA device, you’ll need to contact Sinosend support to recover your account.
